To coordinate, provide and make available desired expertise in the area of Exceptional Student Services to help schools achieve desired priorities in response to needs and disparities identified at the school and classroom level. To provide leadership in compliance issues for district programs and charter schools.

Responsible for the administration, management, and accountability of the School District’s tangible personal property. Administer and support audit issue resolutions. Provide recommendations for improvements of inventory auditing procedures and interpret state and local guidelines. Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, creation of asset records, surplus, exceptions, and resolution of departmental/school issues and errors.

To assist with planning functions within the department for both short-range and long-range planning, school concurrency, capital programs, and coordination with governmental agencies.
