This position will perform highly responsible complex and specialized administrative work directly for the School Board using independent judgement and discretion in matters of significance.
To coordinate, provide and make available desired expertise in the area of Student Support Services to help schools achieve desired priorities in response to needs and disparities identified at the school and classroom level.

A sworn law enforcement officer within the District Police portfolio is charged with delivering emergency management, law enforcement, school resource officer, and safety and security services as assigned. As a state certified police officer within the OCPS District Police the incumbent is responsible for the investigation, pursuit, apprehension and arrest of law violators or suspected law violators. Employees in this class will be responsible for providing various law enforcement services and/or serve in assigned capacities within specialized law enforcement functions to facilities located throughout the District.
To provide timely and accurate plan review of School District construction projects for compliance with relevant codes and standards consistent with the District’s goals. To develop, monitor and supervise the implementation of behavioral programs for severely disabled students; and to provide assistance to district and school personnel in the effective management of students with severe behavior problems.
