QUALIFICATIONS
Ability to administer and support programs related to various sustainability topics, including but not limited to, waste reduction, energy conservation, water conservation, education, wellness, and transportation. Ability to work and communicate effectively with building administrators, staff, students, community members, federal, state, and local government regulatory agencies, and inter-personal skills required. Ability to engage with students in an educational setting to provide resources and lessons on sustainability topics. . Ability to effectively implement, coordinate and direct projects with contractors, school administrators, construction and maintenance employees. Knowledge of and commitment to decentralized decision making and accountability for results. Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficient in all Microsoft Windows Based Applications. The ability to write and edit standard operating procedures, newsletter, training materials, PowerPoint presentations, etc. The ability to handle conflict resolution in a professional and diplomatic manner without compromising the district’s core values.
