To assist with supervision of the senior managers, managers, compliance coordinators, and support staff. Manage the grievance process including processing Step 3 grievances. Assist Legal with Mediations and prepare and present arbitration cases on behalf of the district. Manage the drug and alcohol monitoring and testing program. Assist with managing and supporting principals with the 90-day performance probationary plan process. Serve as the lead trainer for internal and external department-specific training. Serves as an Internal Affairs Investigator for the OCPS District Police responsible for conducting non-criminal investigations as assigned by the Professional Standards Senior Director and Chief of Police- District Police.

Understands that quality teaching and learning are an essential process and product of public schools and has the ability to focus Professional Standards resources toward this end. Knowledge of DOT 49 CFR Part 40 Drug & Alcohol regulations. Demonstrated knowledge of Omnibus Transportation Employee Testing Act (OTETA), Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse, and employer rules, regulations, and policies regarding Drug Testing. Experience working in a collaborative bargaining environment is preferred.
